From what I can understand, the UK Desktop version is being discontinued and will no long work after 31 Jan , so no, the email received Oct21 was not spam if received in the UK. Yes you are right. This is not good news. I used the UK QB Online for an international charity in Sweden, and they needed to stop using it as the audit trail did not meet legal standards. OK, this was years ago. So – it will be like starting again. And, if you are starting again, I would go to another company as QB USA seem to be locking the Desktop version into annual licensing for now If you are using QBD UK version with the one time license, you can keep it that way for the time being.
